Speedemissions, in partnership with The Front Yard at Pace University, is bringing back the Project Planet U.S.A initiative for a third year! Through the initiative, students are encouraged to submit their concepts, innovative ideas, or solutions aimed at addressing climate change. Professor Ipshita Ray, PhD, has launched the Center for Leadership and Emotional Intelligence (or EI) in partnership with Professor Arthur Brooks, PhD, director of Harvard University's Kennedy Center for Leadership and Happiness Laboratory. The Center’s mission is to create a leadership movement built on a foundation of emotional intelligence. The curriculum has been carefully designed by Dr. Brooks for his students at Harvard Kennedy School of Business and is based on the bestselling book he co-wrote with Oprah Winfrey, titled, Build the Life You Want. Lubin Travel Courses
Lubin travel courses will take students to Denmark, Sweden, and Mexico in the spring. Travel scholarships in the amount of $2,500 and $3,500, respectively, are available to help qualified students participate in travel courses and semester abroad programs. Apply now!

Founders' Day: Happy Birthday, Joseph Lubin
Lubin celebrated the birthday of our school's namesake, Joseph I. Lubin, as well as the lives of the University's founders, Homer and Charles Pace, during a special Founders’ Day event on Thursday, November 13. The entire Pace Community joined us for a walk through history, exciting games with prizes, photos in our Instagram corner, and a slice of birthday cake.

The Pace University Small Business Development Center was designated as the 2025 NYSBDC of Excellence and Innovation by the US Small Business Administration’s Metro New York District office. This designation recognizes the Pace SBDC’s value to small businesses from diverse backgrounds. Bianca Mazur ’26 is pursuing a BBA in Sports Marketing and an MS in Social Media and Mobile Marketing while making her mark as president of the American Marketing Association at Pace. Under her leadership, the chapter has ranked among the top 10 nationwide, has hosted industry events, and has built meaningful connections for students across campus. From interning with Madison Square Garden Sports to competing at the International Collegiate Conference, Bianca embodies the drive, leadership, and passion that define #LubinLife.

Professor Kate Richardson – From Corporate to Classroom
Professor Kate M. Richardson, PhD, is associate dean for graduate programs and a professor in the Department of Management and Management Science. With more than 15 years at Pace, she brings experience in accounting, finance, and marketing to her teaching and leadership. Her research focuses on employee well-being, work–life balance, and stress management. She has a passion for helping students navigate change and preparing them for careers that match their strengths.
