This is that special time of the year when we get to see our graduates celebrated at ceremonies that place a spotlight on them in recognition of their hard work, perseverance, and achievements. Lubin's Class of 2023, I am proud of YOU! I look forward to seeing you at commencement. You have proven that you can stay the course and bring the best of yourselves to your academic efforts. As you reach higher, know that you have it within you to "hit the ground running" with all of the knowledge and skills you amassed as a student. Your internships and work experiences will enhance everything you bring to each opportunity you pursue. Congratulations to all of you!

Class of 2023 Receives Awards and Honors

Outstanding doctoral, master's, and baccalaureate students will be honored at Lubin's Awards Ceremonies on May 12. The highest achieving graduates will be presented with awards that acknowledge their academic, co-curricular, and professional accomplishments. At commencement, on May 15, Pace's Class of 2023 will be celebrated for reaching this important milestone in their lives. Congratulations, graduates!

Pace Entrepreneurship Studio Startup Profiles: Cloudonix and Gamr

Eric Klein '90, '97 is leveraging the resources of the Pace Entrepreneurship Studio (PES) to take his company Cloudonix, a telecommunications startup, to the next level. Seyi Fakoya's '23 tech startup, Gamr, is working with PES to build infrastructure for gaming and esports communities in underserved markets.

Renewable Energy Conference

In June, Lubin will co-host the 2023 Renewable Energy Conference: A Leadership Forum on Energy Policy with The Business Council of New York State, Inc. and The Hudson Renewable Energy Institute. The conference will be held on Pace's Pleasantville Campus and will focus on aspirational goals established by New York's Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA).

Elsevier's Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, the American Accounting Association's Journal of Information Systems, and the Lubin School of Business are co-sponsoring the Special Issues Conference: The Digital Transformation of ESG Reporting in December on the New York City Campus.

Exemplary Excellence - EY Scholarships

The Ernst & Young Fund for Excellence in Accounting Education promotes educational excellence in accounting at Pace University. Scholarship awards of $5,000 are given to outstanding students in a qualified undergraduate or graduate accounting program. Apply now!

Inaugural KPMG Scholarship Award Recipients

The newly established KPMG Scholarship Fund for Excellence in Accounting Education provides awards of $5,000 to outstanding Lubin students in a qualified undergraduate or graduate accounting, taxation, or information systems program. Congratulations to the six scholarship recipients who were celebrated at a dinner with KPMG representatives on March 30!

AMA Chapter Brings Home the Gold!

AMA Chapter Brings Home the Gold!

Pace University's American Marketing Association (AMA) chapter won big at the 2023 AMA International Collegiate Conference, taking home several awards including 1st place in Chapter Exhibit and Regional Conference Recognition. Their outstanding performance earned them a spot among the top 25 AMA chapters in the nation out of over 320 participating chapters.

The Ultimate Sales Challenge

The Lubin Sales Team once again proved their prowess in sales by securing 4th place in the "Selling with the Bulls" competition. They excelled in prospecting, discovery, and more.

Jefferson Award Recipients

Lubin is thrilled to congratulate Ana-Laura Morales '26, Nicholas Lotto '25, and Professor PV Viswanath, PhD, on receiving Jefferson Bronze Medal Awards. All three winners embody the spirit of community service and we're proud to have them represent Lubin.

Educational Trip: Destination ... NMAAHC

Lubin's Office of Communications and External Relations, in partnership with Pace's Center for Community Action and Research (CCAR), hosted a trip to the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) in Washington D.C. Staff, students, alumni, and friends spent a fun and educational day at the NMAAHC, the world's largest museum dedicated to African-American history and culture.

Leading in Data and Decisions

Throughout her 29-year career with Lubin, Professor Janice Winch, PhD, has served as the faculty advisor to INFORMS, has received the Kenan Award for Teaching Excellence, has helped revamp our undergraduate Business Analytics program, and has worked on countless initiatives that benefit Lubin.

Lubin alumna Fitzann Reid, co-founder, Cotogna Sports Group (CSG), a conglomerate that buys professional sports teams across the globe, just signed a $5M deal to purchase Pallacanestro Trieste 2004, an Italian professional basketball club based in Trieste, Italy.

In Remembrance: Amanda (Mandy) J. Cuesta '18

We are saddened by the passing of alumna Amanda (Mandy) J. Cuesta. Mandy was an Arts and Entertainment Management major who made music the core of her being. The Pace and Lubin communities extend heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.
