The festival, which takes place at Lincoln Center in New York City, featured the New York premiere of Thunder Rolls! The World of Blind Baseball and the New York Festival premieres of Once Again (For the Very First Time) and Girls Will Be Girls. Lubin Arts and Entertainment Management students volunteered at the festival to gain experience in film festival event planning and implementation. Inspired by her own journey and the challenges she faced as a person of color in the industry, Fasehun hopes DIFF will foster inclusion and inspire future creators. "I wanted to bring people together through our shared love for film," she says in a Forbes article that focuses on her and her creative exploits.
